This e-course is a recording of a practical BIM user training session conducted by TARCON OÜ, focusing on working with infrastructure construction models.

The course helps professionals understand the true nature of IFC models and use them effectively in daily work—from opening and navigating models to data extraction, validation, and model-based communication.

The focus is not on software instruction, but on understanding the logic of BIM models and their practical application in projects. The course demonstrates workflows that help avoid common mistakes, improve model quality, and clarify collaboration between designers and clients.

The training is based on a real project model and practical examples used daily in infrastructure projects.

The instructor is Taavi Liiv, a Chartered Civil Engineer (Level 7) with extensive experience in BIM model utilization, validation, and project management.
