BIM Models in Building Management – How to Truly Benefit from the Model (4.8 CPD)

The objective of this training is to provide real estate owners and managers with a clear understanding of how BIM models can support building management and under what conditions model-based management is practically and economically justified. The course helps to distinguish design and as-built models from management models, understand critical information from a management perspective, and evaluate the quality and suitability of an existing IFC model for supporting management processes. In addition, the training provides a practical overview of the steps required to make an IFC model a functional part of a management solution.
