The Simplebim basic training helps you acquire solid fundamental knowledge in using BIM model data. In addition to knowledge, you will gain the confidence that quantities (which you can obtain from the model many times faster than with traditional methods) are correct and understandable.

What to expect from the Simplebim online course?

• The training begins with general explanations regarding the BIM requirements in force in Estonia. We will also discuss how a BIM model is created.
• We will cover the core functions of Simplebim, including unique features such as the Properties Palette and BIMsheet.
• We will demonstrate Simplebim’s greatest strength – calculating quantities based on the model’s geometry.
• We will discuss the connections between the IFC model and Excel spreadsheets.
• We will work through the extremely useful group creation and saving function, which helps users avoid the well-known problem of “the designer has classified things incorrectly.”
• The training also includes everyone’s favorite “Export to Excel,” but the goal of the course is for you to never need it or to use it as late as possible, as there are smarter ways to utilize BIM data.

A certificate will be issued upon completion of the training.
The prerequisite for issuing the certificate is the completion of the training in full and the payment of the training invoice.
